		<Abstract>The present study was aimed to investigate the effects acceptance and commitment therapy on depression and quality of life of women criminal prisoners in Isfahan city. The design of this study was quasi-experimental with a pretest- posttest control group and evaluation. The statistical population consisted of 100 women prisoners in Isfahan city, That 30 of them were selected by convenience sampling and randomly placed into experimental and control groups. The research hypothesis this is, acceptance and commitment therapy on depression and quality of life of women criminal prisoners is effective. Dependent variables in this study, depression and quality of life were, that evaluated by Beck depression questionnaire (2000) and quality of life questionnaire (1374).The independent variable acceptance and commitment therapy, which was applied in 15 sessions on the experimental group. Data were analyzed using SPSS software and statistical analysis of covariance Data were analyzed using SPSS software and statistical analysis of covariance. The results showed that acceptance and commitment therapy on depression and quality of life of women criminal prisoners is effective (0/05&gt;P).The results of this study, the effectiveness of the acceptance and commitment therapy on the depression and quality of life of women criminal prisoners were identified. Thus, this technique could be used to reduce depression and increase the quality of life of women criminal prisoners.</Abstract>
