		<Abstract>Due to security issues and cross-border transportation of people and goods, strengthen of police stations in border regions such as Ardebil province, for increasing security of the border regions is essential. On the other hand, improper distribution of those centers in urban areas, according to different variables, can help reduce their effectiveness and to reduce the feel safe in an emergency time. Recognizing this need, the aim of this study is to analyze the spatial pattern of existing police stations and the introduction of appropriate zones for the establishment of new police stations in the city of Ardabil. Documentary and field methods were used for data collection. In this study, of the 15 main criteria such as distance from populated areas, away from banks, the distance of the terminals, access to main roads, the distance from commercial centers, the distance from existing stations, are used. To analyze the current situation, spatial statistical techniques, such as the average nearest neighbor, the local Moran statistics and to determine the best location of police stations, using the criteria affecting (15 criteria) VIKOR and ANP as multi criteria methods, have been used. Super Decision and Arc GIS10.3 software are used for weighting, analysis, and determine zones. Findings indicate that due to the physical expansion of the city, existing police stations are not covered fully the city areas and some of city areas out of the serving areas.</Abstract>
